The D.C. Punk Archive library shows return - on the roof! Visit the newly renovated Woodridge Neighborhood Library and see multi-talented, local/semi-local acts perform overlooking a sweeping park landscape:

In-Store performance by Dave Louis and Elliott Levin, celebrating the photo exhibition "A Photographic History of Girard Ave"

Dave Louis' father and grandfather owned a Furshop on the 2800 block of Girard Ave from the turn of the century till the mid-60's - over the years his family archived the changing landscape of W Girard Ave in photographs. This show will highlight some of those pictures. Rarely ever seen images of "Life On Girard" will be available for viewing throughout the month of April @ Brewerytown Beats

In collaboration with the Princeton Public Library, please join us for a unique Jazz Appreciation Month performance: Sonic Liberation 8 featuring Oliver Lake. Sonic Liberation 8 is deeply rooted in the traditions of Afro Cuban music and has spent years fusing that grand tradition with new sounds, including composed jazz, modern chamber composition, and the powerful Orisha spirit. This eight-member ensemble has played extensively in the Philadelphia and New York areas and at festivals and cultural institutions throughout the Midwest U.S. and Canada.
