The March edition of WEST VILLAGE WORD is packed with cutting-edge poetry and music. We light up Cafe BOHEMIA with three smoking sets: drumming giant RONNIE BURRAGE performs solo and reads poetry of his grandfather Allen David Mahr, then we are CELEBRATING CECIL w a trio of Cecil Taylor alumni ELIOTT LEVIN/JOHN BLUM and JACKSON KRALL. The evening concludes with THE MOTHER OF ALL FINALES: free jazz and spoken word for Women’s History Month with an all-rad, all-female ensemble!
